Well, it's been a while.
An update on my life is due, no?
Let's see...the job's helluva fun ride. I've been learning how to attract, approach and interact as well as persuade people from well...all walks of life. Not only did I get experience in sales, but I've met many interesting people. My colleagues are pretty fun people too, not to mention. I personally recommend it as 'boot camp' for Raffles people, especially those with with zero EQ.
At home...nothing new, I guess. Same old quarrels, same old fights...except I see my parents a lot less. I find that independence has its effect on my preferences as well - I hate people disturbing me when I'm home, even if my mum wants to talk to me for a minute.
New judo mats mean longer warm up sessions. I swear I am reminded of IKEA every time I go for training. And my shoulder hasn't had an "outer-body experience" at the dojo in 3 months or so. Well done. I'm starting to go back to throwing practice. Slowly, mind you.
Pool's rather addictive too. I daresay I've improved a bit. Hitting all the shots in gives you such a satisfying feeling, it's nearly orgasmic. Of course, I'm trying to learn from everyone, so I guess I should play with anyone - when I got the time and dough.
Sigh. Holidays have been working, sleep, giving tuition, training, sleep, working, sleep, giving tuition, training, sleep...you catch my drift.
I need to start mugging soon. Hell.
But hey, unlike you useless sods in front of the computer, surfing the net and reading this on a school holiday morning, feeling somewhat sleepy and yawning, I'm actually doing something productive.
This holidays, I learnt something new. This holidays, I tried something new. This holidays, I grew new balls.
What have you done with your holidays?
...hell, she better be enjoying that frickin' book. Took me quite a bit of effort to find it.
sumo signs off.
